Senior Software Engineer (AppGlass)

Role overview A senior engineering position focused on a new product for safe, AI-assisted debugging of production systems. The work spans JVM tooling, program analysis, and applied AI, with the goal of letting engineering teams investigate live issues safely, reliably, and with practical AI assistance. The role combines hands-on feature development with leadership of technical direction within a small, product-focused team.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and lead the development of product features for an AI-first debugging platform. - Develop tooling and automation that supports AI-driven engineering workflows. - Build enterprise integrations and deployment scenarios across Kubernetes and cloud environments. - Improve reliability, testing, performance, and security posture for production use. - Collaborate cross-functionally to shape the product's technical roadmap and architecture.

Requirements - Extensive hands-on experience with Java, Kotlin, and JVM systems. - Background in enterprise backend software, infrastructure, or developer tooling. - Working comfort with Kubernetes and cloud environments. - Strong ownership mentality and clear communication, with the ability to drive work forward without waiting for perfect specifications. - Practical experience using AI in development while validating results with sound engineering discipline.

Nice to have - Experience with debugging, instrumentation, or observability-related tooling. - Background with .NET or Python backend products. - A strong personal interest in developer productivity and engineering quality.
