Role overview A project-based engineering role delivering Microsoft cloud, security, and infrastructure solutions for client engagements. The position independently manages delivery against scope and timeline, produces high-quality documentation, and helps lift the team's standard practices.
Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end implementation of client technology projects, meeting scope, quality, and delivery milestones - Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Defender, Sentinel, and Purview - Implement endpoint protection, threat detection, identity security, and data governance solutions - Produce implementation notes, as-built documentation, knowledge base articles, and client-facing technical docs - Identify technical risks and recommend updates to standard operating procedures and knowledge base content - Provide technical guidance to peers and ensure solutions support long-term operational stability
Requirements - 3–5 years implementing and supporting IT infrastructure and Microsoft technology projects - Hands-on experience in at least two technical areas, including Microsoft Security & Compliance - Experience working with distributed or remote teams in a consulting or project-based setting - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, customer service, and stakeholder management skills - Excellent written and verbal communication - Home office setup with a computer meeting specified RAM and OS requirements, stable internet (5 Mbps up/down), a quality noise-cancelling headset, HD webcam, smartphone for Microsoft Authenticator, second monitor, and a UPS if using a desktop
Nice to have - Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or 3CX Basic Certified Engineer
