Tech Lead

Role overview Lead engineering architecture, team development, and delivery across data, AI, and product systems for session replay and voice analysis. You’ll establish foundations that support fast product iteration while maintaining reliability, scalability, and coordination across teams.

Responsibilities - Define and evolve the end-to-end architecture, from data capture and ingestion through processing, AI, and frontend experiences. - Align schemas, pipelines, and storage models across replay and voice products. - Build and mentor engineers across data infrastructure, AI, and full-stack development; set expectations for code quality and ownership. - Guide AI and data pipelines, including retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, and inference, with attention to data quality, privacy, and versioning. - Own infrastructure reliability, scalability, service targets, delivery pipelines, and incident response. - Explain technical trade-offs and roadmaps to leadership and support a strong documentation and delivery culture.

Requirements - At least eight years of software engineering experience, including three or more years in leadership roles. - Demonstrated experience building distributed data and AI systems. - Strong hands-on architecture skills and ability to connect engineering decisions to product needs. - Clear communication and experience bridging technical and product teams. - Comfort in a startup environment with broad ownership.

Nice to have - Experience with Node.js, Python, Kafka, ClickHouse, MongoDB, Supabase, object storage, cloud deployment platforms, speech transcription, or session replay technology. - Familiarity with large language model APIs and tooling.
