About this role
Role overview
Keep fulfillment operations running during evening coverage by monitoring systems and integrations, responding to site requests, and investigating order, inventory, and shipping problems. This entry-level role suits an early-career candidate who understands—or wants to learn—fulfillment workflows and can use AI coding assistants thoughtfully to investigate a Python and Django codebase, make small fixes, and contribute to automation and reporting.
Responsibilities - Monitor fulfillment systems, integrations, and requests from operating sites during the evening shift. - Use SQL, logs, and AI-assisted tools to investigate delayed or failed orders, inventory discrepancies, and shipping issues. - Review AI-generated code, make small changes, and build scripts or automation in a Python and Django environment. - Escalate complex incidents with a clear account of the impact, investigation, and suggested next steps. - Document resolutions, improve runbooks, and contribute to features, reports, and process improvements. - Provide weekend coverage every other weekend, including monitoring the Sunday order release.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in a relevant area, such as industrial engineering, computer science, or supply chain. - Exposure to fulfillment, warehouse, or supply chain operations; coursework, internships, co-ops, and system experience can count. - Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools and the judgment to review and verify their output. - Working knowledge of SQL and basic familiarity with Python. - Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills, plus clear written and verbal communication. - Curiosity, adaptability, and motivation to grow; new graduates and early-career applicants are welcome.
Nice to have - Supply chain or industrial engineering background; experience with Python, Django, JSON, APIs, ERP, or warehouse systems. - Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
Benefits and work setup - Remote work from anywhere in the United States; the role also supports an office option. - Regular schedule is Monday to Friday, 3–11 p.m. Eastern, with 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Eastern training during the first month. Weekend coverage is every other weekend. - Listed benefits include equity, paid parental leave, health, vision, dental and life insurance, a retirement plan with employer match, a home-office stipend, monthly grocery credit, and an unlimited vacation policy.
