Forward Deployed Engineer, Hardware

Role overview Investigate compute incidents that require hands-on work with servers, network links, racks, or data centre facilities. You’ll work alongside site teams and connect physical hardware findings to workload impact, giving remote engineers and customer operators clear evidence and precise handoffs.

Responsibilities - Diagnose GPU servers, network components, cabling, and other physical infrastructure signals with site teams. - Relate hardware observations to workload impact and document evidence for the next team to act on. - Help plan safe diagnostic work in production environments. - Coordinate escalation to infrastructure providers or hardware vendors when needed. - Improve field runbooks and installation checks, and share patterns from recurring faults with product teams. - Explain findings clearly to remote engineers and customer operators.

Requirements - Hands-on experience diagnosing server, GPU, fabric, or data centre hardware. - A methodical approach to fault isolation and safe work in production environments. - Ability to collaborate with software, network, and operations specialists. - Clear technical documentation and customer-facing communication.

Nice to have Experience with NVIDIA systems, InfiniBand or RoCE, vendor RMA processes, or Linux diagnostics.
