Job details
About this role
Role overview Develop an internal training program that helps software engineers build the practical skills and operational judgment needed for HPC and GPU infrastructure work. The program should turn specialist knowledge into hands-on learning grounded in realistic incidents and observable engineering skills.
Responsibilities - Map the skills engineers need to investigate incidents involving GPUs, fabrics, storage, Linux, and distributed workloads. - Design hands-on labs, assessments, and progression paths for engineers learning HPC operations. - Work with specialists to turn incident cases and runbooks into practical exercises. - Teach and coach engineers, evaluating demonstrated capabilities rather than time spent in training. - Measure changes in diagnosis, communication, and safe decision-making, then revise the program.
Requirements - Experience teaching or mentoring engineers in complex technical subjects. - Practical knowledge of HPC, GPU infrastructure, distributed systems, or related operations. - Ability to design exercises that assess real engineering judgment. - Strong software engineering literacy and clear technical writing.
Nice to have Experience in curriculum design, lab infrastructure, incident response training, or competency assessment.
