Join a fast-moving AI-focused consulting team as an AI Product Quality Specialist on a contract basis. The mission centers on keeping shipped products free of friction by triaging real user issues from noise and resolving them with speed and sound judgment. This role is fully remote for US or Canada-based applicants and offers a potential path to full-time conversion.
Responsibilities
- Triage and resolve product bugs by working directly in the codebase, submitting fixes, and validating them before release - Interpret user feedback to surface the underlying problem rather than the surface complaint, then prioritize accordingly - Monitor product quality continuously, flagging patterns and systemic issues before they accumulate - Use AI coding tools to move faster on fixes while preserving human judgment over what actually gets shipped - Communicate crisply across functions with specific updates on what is broken, fixed, or still needing attention - Document fixes, edge cases, and recurring issues to build durable institutional knowledge over time
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in a QA, product, or technical support role working on software products - Practical experience building or experimenting with AI coding assistants and applying them to real production work - Track record of resolving product issues independently with minimal hand-holding - Ability to read user feedback and extract signal from noise, with enough UX literacy to judge what really affects users - Clear written communication skills and the ability to escalate issues in a way product leads can act on immediately - Comfort operating without a detailed process in place and creating your own system for managing volume
