Senior Informaticist

Role overview Lead analytics supporting pharmacy prior authorization and clinical review operations. The work combines healthcare data analysis, operational understanding, and business partnership to explain performance, identify improvement opportunities, and guide decisions in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities - Own complex analytical projects from framing the question through recommendations and measuring results. - Analyze prior authorization activity and operational performance to find trends, process gaps, and likely drivers. - Combine data from pharmacy claims, membership, clinical, and operational sources to build a fuller view of outcomes. - Develop reporting, analytical frameworks, and decision-support tools while maintaining data governance standards. - Partner with clinical, operational, technology, and analytics teams on evolving needs and regulatory reporting. - Present findings, assumptions, risks, and recommendations clearly to audiences including senior leaders.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience solving complex business problems in analytics, healthcare operations, informatics, strategy, consulting, engineering, or a related field. - Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to structure analysis when the problem or process is not fully defined. - Ability to work with healthcare data and connect analytical findings to operational processes and practical actions. - Skill in communicating complex conclusions and recommendations to varied audiences. - Comfort working across teams and adapting to changing priorities in a regulated setting.

Nice to have - Familiarity with pharmacy prior authorization, pharmacy claims, clinical operations, or healthcare regulatory reporting. - Experience with Databricks or Power BI.
