Role overview
Lead the operating model for a consumer digital product organization, translating business priorities into clear processes that help teams plan, deliver, and improve products at scale. The role partners with senior leaders across product, technology, design, analytics, and business functions, while also overseeing organizational operations and a program management team.
Responsibilities
- Define roles, decision rights, governance, and ways of working across the digital product organization. - Create practical standards, tools, and playbooks for planning, prioritization, delivery, measurement, and improvement. - Establish operating forums and portfolio reporting that clarify ownership, expose risks, and support timely decisions. - Manage the organization’s operating cadence, communications, budgets, workforce planning, recruiting, and onboarding. - Lead and develop the program management team, setting direction and ensuring disciplined execution of key initiatives. - Measure adoption and effectiveness of the operating model, then use feedback to improve it and strengthen collaboration.
Requirements
- Senior leadership experience in organizational transformation, product operations, or a related function. - Ability to design governance, operating models, performance measures, and change approaches for complex organizations. - Experience advising executives and aligning cross-functional teams around priorities and outcomes. - Strong judgment in managing complex initiatives, resources, and competing needs. - Skill in communicating progress, recommendations, and results to senior stakeholders.
Benefits and work setup
- Remote position, with occasional office travel for meetings or training; a dedicated workspace and reliable internet are required. - 40 hours per week; eligible for a performance-based bonus plan. - Annual base salary range of $168,000–$231,000, varying by location and qualifications. - Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, paid time off, holidays, parental and caregiver leave, disability coverage, and life insurance.
