Job details
About this role
Role overview
Own customer implementations from kickoff through activation, covering new customer onboarding and additional product rollouts. The project manager coordinates customer, internal, and partner contributors against a shared plan, keeps stakeholders informed, and helps make delivery practices more repeatable as the function scales.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple implementations through integration, testing, and go-live, maintaining accountability for predictable delivery. - Coordinate internal technical teams, customer resources, and partners, tracking milestones and dependencies across contributors. - Lead kickoff meetings and act as the customer’s main contact through activation, communicating progress, risks, and scope changes. - Identify blockers early, escalate issues, and keep implementation work moving toward agreed outcomes. - Ensure effective handoffs from sales into implementation and from implementation to customer success and support. - Maintain reliable project plans and portfolio reporting, and help improve templates, standards, and automation-supported processes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of technical project management or onboarding project management experience, ideally in software as a service. - Record of owning delivery from start to finish and influencing cross-functional contributors without direct authority. - Strong organization and communication skills, including the ability to manage several implementations in parallel. - Confidence leading customer meetings, setting expectations, and keeping stakeholders aligned through go-live. - Ability to prioritize competing work and maintain clarity in ambiguous situations.
Nice to have
- Technical fluency to guide integration specialists and translate between business and technical stakeholders. - Exposure to ecommerce, product discovery, language models, catalog feeds, integrations, or APIs. - Experience coordinating customer, internal, and third-party implementation teams.
Benefits and work setup
- Fully remote work, with a home office stipend and laptop provided. - Compensation includes stock options; benefits include paid time off, annual training funds, parental leave, and employee health coverage.
