Engineering Manager

Role overview Lead engineering teams responsible for fan and club products used for ticketing, livestreaming, and sports programs. The role combines team strategy, people management, technical direction, and cross-functional delivery, with a focus on scalable cloud systems and AI-assisted engineering practices.

Responsibilities - Set technical and product-area direction for multiple engineering teams, aligning plans with broader goals. - Coach and develop engineers across experience levels, support career growth, and manage performance. - Coordinate with leaders in other disciplines to plan and deliver product improvements. - Guide teams in designing and building reliable, scalable cloud software. - Encourage effective use of AI development tools and patterns to speed delivery.

Requirements - Extensive experience designing and operating scalable cloud-based software. - A record of setting technical strategy and leading engineering work across product areas. - Experience managing engineers, including coaching and performance management. - An AI-forward approach and willingness to guide teams in adopting AI-assisted development. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines.

Nice to have - Experience with TypeScript, React, GraphQL, C#, MongoDB, or AWS, or comparable technologies used at scale. - Familiarity with payment systems, financial ledgers, or user payouts. - React Native or native iOS or Android development experience. - Experience working with hybrid or remote engineering teams.
