Business System Analyst - Experienced

Role overview Operate as an experienced Business Systems Analyst supporting enterprise technology initiatives that touch multiple business units. The role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams, shaping requirements, processes, and solution designs that align with strategic objectives and enterprise standards.

Responsibilities - Elicit, analyze, document, and validate both functional and non-functional requirements. - Perform gap and issue analyses to surface business needs and improvement opportunities. - Translate complex business requirements into clear, testable technical specifications. - Design, document, and maintain business and system processes, and contribute to business cases for strategic initiatives. - Plan, coordinate, and monitor deliverables for small to mid-sized projects and tasks, applying SDLC and project lifecycle principles. - Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, facilitating communication and managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle. - Provide guidance and feedback to less experienced analysts and collaborate across departments on enterprise-wide initiatives.

Requirements - 5+ years of business analyst experience supporting broad-impact, cross-functional systems. - Advanced skills in requirements elicitation for business processes and system functionality. - Strong general analysis and gap analysis capabilities. - Experience producing multiple types of business and process documentation. - Demonstrated ability to identify and design business or system improvements. - Proven capability to coordinate and manage small to mid-sized projects and tasks. - Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work independently with limited supervision and organize work in a remote setting.

Nice to have - Professional Business Analyst certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or PBA. - Familiarity with enterprise systems and strategic solution design.
