Sr. Engineering Manager, GoFlow

Role overview

Senior engineering manager role leading a growth engineering team that builds the web experiences driving patient acquisition, engagement, and satisfaction on a consumer health platform. The team owns a server-driven, node-based flow engine that powers the full patient journey from medical intake through treatment selection and checkout, providing every vertical a shared, reliable foundation. This is a hands-on technical and people leadership role driving architecture, reliability, and developer experience for a platform central to nearly every customer's path to care.

Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and inspire engineers across multiple teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement - Partner with product, design, analytics, marketing, and telemedicine teams to define and execute growth strategies - Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to deliver initiatives on time and within scope - Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives - Drive architecture, reliability, and developer experience for the flow engine platform - Champion continuous improvement in scalability and performance, including cross-functional migrations and next-generation architecture - Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development for team members

Requirements

- 10+ years of relevant software engineering experience, including significant management responsibility in fast-paced, high-growth environments - Expertise in modern web technologies and frameworks such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next, GraphQL, and Node - Proven experience building and managing high-performing engineering teams - Strong technical background in full-stack development and architecture - Experience designing, building, and scaling web platforms for high-traffic applications - Solid understanding of agile frameworks and project management practices - Excellent communication skills bridging technical and non-technical audiences

- Background in healthtech, telehealth, or consumer-facing platforms - Experience with experimentation frameworks, personalization, and conversion optimization - Familiarity with eligibility and checkout orchestration systems
