Remote job
Strategy & Operations Program Manager, Global Technical Enablement
Job details
About this role
Role overview
Serve as the operational right hand to the head of a global technical enablement organization that builds product mastery for cloud security and AI-era customers. This is a high-altitude strategy and operations role: keep the business inspection-ready, run the leadership cadence, govern spend and vendors, and turn data into a story leaders can tell at a moment's notice, without owning team execution directly.
Responsibilities
- Architect and run the leadership operating rhythm, including staff meetings, quarterly strategic planning, and cross-pillar retrospectives. - Drive the OKR lifecycle end to end: draft, cascade, track, and proactively mitigate schedule risk before it hits the business. - Govern the decision log so that every agreement leaves a meeting with an owner, a date, and follow-through. - Lead financial forecasting, budget tracking, and business-case development for enablement infrastructure such as lab environments, software licensing, tool subscriptions, and vendor platforms. - Manage vendor and platform lifecycles, renewals, and the operational tech stack for the enablement organization. - Maintain a continuously current "walking deck" narrative covering org, strategy, OKR status, metrics, risks, and wins, ready to present with zero prep. - Convert central dashboards, learner throughput, and course CSAT into an actionable leadership narrative in partnership with analysts. - Prepare the head of the function for executive reviews, QBRs, skip-levels, and escalations through dry-runs, briefing docs, and pre-empted questions. - Represent the head in selected forums as a proxy, and serve as the strategic coordination bridge between enablement pillars and partners in product, product marketing, solutions engineering, and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 5+ years in business operations, strategy, chief-of-staff, or technical program management, including direct support of senior leaders. - Proven experience managing operational tech stacks, vendor relationships, and tracking organizational budgets, OPEX, or business cases. - Demonstrated ability to write and speak at a leadership altitude and influence cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority. - Exceptional ability to manage multiple complex threads, ensuring documentation, follow-through, and action on every decision.
Nice to have
- Experience in an Office-of-the-CxO function or as a dedicated right-hand to a senior leader in a high-tech environment. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure), cybersecurity, technical lab environments, or developer platforms. - Experience working inside or partnering with technical enablement, customer engineering, sales engineering, or customer success organizations. - Comfort operating in high ambiguity and inventing structure when priorities shift across a distributed global team.
Benefits and work setup
- US base salary range of $136,000-$185,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits; final offer varies by location and experience. - Role does not offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have existing right to work in the role's country.
