Responsibilities

- Lead design and development of high-throughput streaming infrastructure for clickstream, product interaction, and transactional data - Scale the platform to handle millions of messages per second at sub-second end-to-end latency - Build out a real-time computation engine that personalizes user experiences based on live behavior - Drive greenfield product development from the ground up while leading other engineers - Ensure reliability and performance as usage grows following rapid revenue expansion

Requirements

- Principal-level experience designing and operating high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems - Comfort leading greenfield product work and setting technical direction for a team - Background scaling real-time data infrastructure to billions of events - Ability to lead and mentor engineers while remaining hands-on in the code - Strong instincts for reliability, performance, and cost at high data volumes
