Role overview
Support the design, execution, and ongoing improvement of automated testing for clinical and business applications. The role is suited to someone developing expertise in software quality, robotic process automation, healthcare technology, and process improvement while partnering with application teams, business stakeholders, technical specialists, and vendors to reduce manual validation and improve reliability.
Responsibilities
- Document business processes and translate them into automated test scenarios and maintainable workflow validations. - Build, execute, troubleshoot, and maintain automated scripts using UiPath for Epic and other healthcare applications. - Support test planning, requirements validation, result analysis, defect management, and assessment of potential customer impact. - Contribute to project deliverables such as requirements, business vision, interface considerations, documentation, walkthroughs, sprint reviews, and status reporting. - Collaborate across the technology delivery lifecycle while following required quality, privacy, security, approval, and compliance standards. - Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and help strengthen testing practices, automation coverage, and application reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, information systems, or a related field; equivalent education or relevant experience may be accepted. - Basic analytical, problem-solving, communication, software testing, and software development lifecycle knowledge. - Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, and willingness to learn new technologies and testing methods. - Ability to work effectively with application analysts, engineers, architects, vendors, business stakeholders, and more senior team members. - U.S. citizenship is required because of contractual and access requirements. - Availability for approximately 25%–50% travel and an office- or remote-based working arrangement.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with UiPath, robotic process automation, scripting, Git, GitLab, or other version-control platforms. - Experience with healthcare applications, Epic workflows, clinical processes, Lean or Six Sigma, or health insurance operations. - Preferred credentials include ITIL, TOGAF, Six Sigma, or PMP certification.
