Solutions Architect

Role overview

Serve as a technical advisor throughout the sales and customer journey for a real-time data platform. This role combines solution design, technical demonstrations, customer discovery, and cross-functional product advocacy, helping organizations design and build event-driven applications and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

- Partner with sales teams to understand customer needs and shape technically sound solutions. - Lead technical demonstrations and support end-to-end solution design with prospects and customers. - Explain product capabilities, technical positioning, roadmap direction, known issues, and available workarounds. - Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to represent customer and market needs. - Build trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders throughout the sales cycle. - Contribute to the broader data-streaming community through clear technical communication.

Requirements

- Experience with distributed systems or infrastructure products such as databases, message queues, data platforms, or big-data systems. - Confidence presenting to audiences that include both technical specialists and business stakeholders. - Strong self-direction, curiosity, and willingness to tackle difficult technical problems. - Proficiency in Rust or Python. - Experience building or operating applications in cloud environments.
