Role overview
Help prospective and existing customers design, evaluate, and adopt infrastructure for machine learning, analytics, and data-intensive workloads. This customer-facing Solutions Architect role combines technical discovery, architecture design, demonstrations, proof-of-concept delivery, and early adoption support. You will translate business objectives into practical solutions while advising on scalability, cost, security, and production readiness.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions to understand customer architectures, workflows, stakeholders, and desired outcomes. - Design end-to-end solutions spanning collaborative workspaces, orchestration, compute, networking, security, and observability. - Deliver technical demonstrations, workshops, presentations, pilots, and proof-of-concept implementations. - Work with sales teams on account strategy, solution proposals, evaluation plans, and implementation approaches. - Share customer feedback with product and engineering teams and help improve onboarding practices. - Create reusable reference architectures, demo environments, technical guides, and enablement materials, while supporting handoff through early adoption.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, technical consulting, or a comparable customer-facing position. - Strong foundations in cloud infrastructure and architecture, with experience in AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Microsoft Azure. - Ability to implement quickly, reason about systems, explain technical trade-offs, and build trust during customer engagements. - Excellent communication skills across both technical and executive audiences. - Based in the United States and authorized to work there.
Nice to have
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Dask, Ray, or Spark. - Familiarity with production machine learning and MLOps practices, including training, deployment, monitoring, or feature stores. - Knowledge of data tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Airflow, Prefect, or Kafka. - Exposure to security and compliance requirements such as SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI, or FedRAMP. - Startup experience or experience supporting fast-moving sales cycles.
