About this role
Role overview Own the data migration journey for new customers moving onto a nonprofit CRM platform, ensuring every record lands accurately and intact. The role combines hands-on data analysis, customer-facing communication, and cross-functional coordination from onboarding kickoff through post-migration reconciliation.
Responsibilities - Manage a portfolio of new CRM clients, acting as their primary data point of contact throughout onboarding. - Prepare complex data import rules and specifications for software engineers executing the migrations. - Audit source data for structure and quality, flagging inconsistencies, missing values, and non-standard entries before import. - Run validation checks, including pre-migration audits and post-migration reconciliation, to safeguard integrity. - Document data maps, transformation logic, and issues, keeping business stakeholders and developers aligned. - Diagnose and resolve import errors and post-migration discrepancies. - Keep project tracking accurate in tools such as Rocketlane, Zendesk, JIRA, and Salesforce. - Coordinate with sales, onboarding, and support teams to deliver a unified client experience.
Requirements - Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets, including common functions and formulas. - Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy. - Track record of delivering high-quality customer service. - Strong analytical and problem-solving ability for diagnosing messy data. - Highly developed written and verbal communication skills. - Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills across customers and internal teams.
Nice to have - Prior experience working in the nonprofit sector. - Familiarity with SaaS delivery environments.
