Senior Director of Cloud Services

Role overview A senior leadership position responsible for directing operations across a Cloud Services organization that spans both professional and managed services delivery. The role partners with executive leadership to define delivery standards, monitor engagement health, and ensure cloud engagements land on time with consistent quality. It blends technical depth, operational rigor, and strategic client alignment, including public-facing thought leadership and go-to-market collaboration.

Responsibilities - Set, monitor, and reinforce delivery standards for scope, quality, timelines, documentation, risk management, and client communication across cloud engagements. - Maintain visibility into engagement schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resourcing, and review operational metrics such as utilization, capacity, forecast, margins, quality, and client satisfaction. - Lead resolution of high-priority delivery and client escalations, engaging directly with clients and delivery teams to restore momentum and protect outcomes. - Partner with Delivery Operations, Resource Management, Sales, Advisory, and Security teams to align cloud delivery with broader business goals. - Develop and socialize cybersecurity and cloud engineering strategies that improve customer adoption and product-market fit, including public speaking and evangelism. - Build the processes, metrics, and accountability structures required to scale high-quality cloud services delivery.

Requirements - 10+ years of experience in technical delivery or engineering roles, including 5+ years leading managers within cloud or cybersecurity consulting. - Track record of working across professional and managed services delivery models. - Demonstrated ability to manage client escalations, delivery governance, and high-stakes technical discussions with executives and engineers. - Familiarity with ITIL, cloud governance frameworks, or related service management and architecture standards. - Experience applying Agile delivery practices and using project management and professional services operations tooling. - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams across remote, distributed environments. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Nice to have - Relevant cloud or service management certifications such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or ITIL. - Background spanning cybersecurity, cloud engineering, and customer-facing technical leadership.
