Sr Analytics Consultant

Role overview Provide analytical consulting to healthcare business and clinical stakeholders, turning complex data into insights that support decisions and business initiatives. The role combines hands-on analysis, dashboard development, and advisory work with internal and external partners, including senior leaders.

Responsibilities - Query internal and external data sources to identify meaningful patterns and answer business questions. - Lead analytics initiatives from defining the business case through delivery to customers or partners. - Build and present clear, visually engaging dashboards and analyses for stakeholders. - Advise business and clinical teams on the implications of findings and possible actions. - Coordinate across stakeholders and deliver accurate work to tight timelines.

Requirements - A bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, a master’s degree and 4 years, a PhD and 2 years, or 10 years of relevant experience. Relevant fields include healthcare services, statistical analysis, and insurance economics. - Strong analytical skills and proficiency querying varied data sources. - Experience with analytical programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R. - Ability to build dashboards using a visualization platform such as Tableau or Power BI. - Experience taking an analytical initiative from concept to successful delivery. - Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.

Nice to have Experience with healthcare payer, managed care, or Medicare analytics; claims, member, or authorization data; and clinical operations or utilization management. Advanced SQL and Tableau or Power BI skills, familiarity with SAS or Teradata, and experience gathering requirements and presenting actionable insights are also valued. A master’s degree is preferred.
