About this role
Role overview
Drive the growth of an Internal Developer Portal (IDP) product as a senior outbound product manager with direct quota-carrying responsibility for new annual recurring revenue. The role blends product management, technical evangelism, and field sales support, leading a strategic shift from a sales-led motion toward product-led growth while shaping market conversation around AI's impact on developer experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the new-ARR target for the IDP product line through cross-sell and emerging product-led channels - Serve as the technical product specialist for the field: deliver live demos, lead technical discovery, and answer RFP and product-related questions on inbound and existing-customer opportunities - Develop and publish an opinionated point of view on how AI and agentic workflows are reshaping internal developer portals, producing 3-5 net new content or thought-leadership assets within the first 90 days - Build and maintain the go-to-market kit, including collateral, business-value assessments, demo environments, and sales-enablement materials - Translate recurring deal-blocking gaps into actionable feedback for engineering - Steward the product toward a self-sustaining motion, whether product-led or sales-attached
Requirements
- Background combining technical depth (sales engineering, developer platforms, or DevX) with strong educator and communicator instincts - Hands-on familiarity with developer experience and developer platforms, plus demonstrated thought leadership on AI's impact on DevX - Confidence presenting to technical buyers and the ability to win a room through demos and technical credibility - Track record operating at senior to staff IC scope - Willingness to travel for field activities - Growth PM or DevRel experience is a plus but not required
Benefits and work setup
- Anticipated base salary range of $165,000 to $215,000 USD, with potential equity and benefits; final offer varies by location, level, experience, and skills - Comprehensive healthcare coverage, flexible spending account, and employee assistance program - Flexible work schedule with flexible time off and parental leave - Monthly, quarterly, and annual social and team-building events - Monthly internet reimbursement
