The role centers on designing, shipping, and owning React-based experiences and the UI infrastructure that supports a digital lending platform, with a strong emphasis on modern, AI-assisted engineering workflows.
Responsibilities - Design, build, and own production React applications, including hooks, component architecture, and UI SDKs used by other engineers. - Drive engineering efficiency through AI-driven coding agents and agentic workflows that autonomously build, test, and ship complex frontends at scale. - Lead the full software development lifecycle: scoping, design, development, automated testing, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of features. - Collaborate with product managers, designers, business owners, and engineers to identify the right solutions and shape functional and technical specs. - Implement automated frontend testing for critical components and user workflows, upholding code quality and reliability standards. - Mentor other frontend engineers, address technical debt, and evolve tooling to reduce operational load across the team.
Requirements - 5+ years building production React applications at scale, with deep expertise in React, hooks, and component architecture. - Production experience with ReactJS, CSS, GraphQL, JavaScript, and Node.js, plus working knowledge of Python and Java. - Track record delivering scalable, highly available consumer applications, ideally across the full technology stack. - Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway. - Strong testing discipline and the ability to scope, prioritize, and unblock work across ambiguous technical and business projects. - BA or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have - Experience with AI coding agents and agentic development workflows applied to React applications. - Background building UI-based SDKs for downstream developer consumption.
Benefits and work setup - Base salary range of $140,000–$160,000 USD, plus eligibility for an annual bonus. - Medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with matching; company-paid short- and long-term disability and life insurance. - Generous PTO including sick leave, vacation, and volunteer time, plus 12 weeks of paid parental leave. - Monthly remote-work tech stipend and a 100% fully distributed workforce model.
