Next.js Developer (Tailwind CSS)

Role overview This role centers on crafting the user interfaces for websites, client portals, and admin panels, with a focus on speed, accessibility, and clean structure. The work involves close collaboration with backend engineers who build the APIs underneath, using Next.js and Tailwind CSS as the primary toolset.

Responsibilities - Translate design files and rough briefs into polished, responsive interfaces using Next.js and Tailwind CSS - Develop and maintain a library of reusable components for team-wide use - Optimize page performance through smart rendering choices, image and font loading strategies, and minimizing client-side JavaScript - Address layout, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility issues as they arise - Present finished work to clients weekly and iterate based on their input

Requirements - Proven track record of building and shipping production interfaces with Next.js and Tailwind CSS - Strong design sensibility for spacing, typography, and layout, even when working without a detailed design file - Commitment to accessibility standards and semantic HTML beyond visual polish - Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in writing

Nice to have - Experience with design systems or component libraries - Familiarity with React Server Components or the Next.js App Router
