Role overview A part-time, permanent frontend engineering position (20 hours per week) embedded in a marketing team, focused on building and continuously improving a public-facing website that showcases a software platform for the European EV-charging sector. The work blends hands-on React/Next.js development with headless CMS integration and close collaboration with designers, marketers, and an agency partner.
Responsibilities - Develop and refactor the website with React and Next.js, adding pages, modules, and reusable components on top of a flexible existing setup. - Integrate the Storyblok headless CMS with the Next.js front end, building component schemas, content structures, and fields that render reliably. - Translate approved UX/UI designs into responsive front ends that work across screen sizes, interaction patterns, and language versions. - Connect APIs and external services while protecting performance, technical SEO, and accessibility. - Maintain quality through technical testing, code reviews, and clean release processes, including managing a shared technical backlog with the online marketing team and agency. - Use AI-assisted tooling to streamline development, testing, and documentation tasks.
Requirements - Degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical qualification. - Professional front-end experience with strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js. - Practical experience with Storyblok components and content modeling, plus Node.js, npm, and API integrations. - Demonstrated ability to ship responsive, maintainable, reusable front ends with attention to performance, accessibility, and technical SEO. - Comfortable with Git/GitHub workflows, pull requests, and structured testing/release processes. - Independent, structured, and pragmatic working style with clear communication in English; German is a plus.
