Role overview An incident response management (IRM) squad is hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer to help run a set of business-critical services that organizations worldwide rely on to detect, respond to, and learn from incidents. The team's mission is to make incident handling easy and low-toil, deeply integrated with a broader observability platform. This is a full-time remote role for candidates based in Sweden, working across mobile, frontend, and backend boundaries on a large and constantly evolving product surface.
Responsibilities - Help shape the team roadmap and personal career goals while owning meaningful parts of the mobile application. - Design, build, operate, and maintain the mobile app, accountable for its reliability, performance, and availability. - Drive projects from ideation through to operations and customer use, then iterate based on feedback. - Join the team's on-call rotation and take ownership of issues in the running application. - Mentor teammates, take part in design discussions, and contribute actively to code reviews. - Engage with the open-source community and contribute to projects adjacent to the team's core scope.
Requirements - Strong track record building and shipping production mobile applications with attention to reliability and performance. - Self-starter attitude with a bias for action and a customer-focused approach. - Pragmatic problem-solving style, comfortable breaking complex challenges into short feedback loops. - Independent and clear communication skills suitable for a remote-first, video-heavy environment. - Genuine interest in crafting intuitive products that map to real customer workflows. - Comfort working inside a large distributed codebase and quickly building context on a cloud product.
