Role overview Join the mobile squad of an Incident Response Management (IRM) team that builds services helping organizations detect, respond to, and learn from incidents with minimal toil. As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will own and evolve a mobile application that is critical to on-call workflows, shaping the user experience that responders rely on during high-pressure moments. The role is fully remote and based in Germany, embedded in a cross-functional group covering frontend, backend, and mobile work.
Responsibilities - Design, build, operate, and maintain the mobile application, taking ownership of reliability, performance, and availability. - Influence the product roadmap and your own career objectives, contributing ideas that shape direction. - Drive projects from initial ideation through to production operations in customers' hands. - Participate in on-call rotations and take responsibility for the services you run. - Mentor teammates, contribute to design reviews, and collaborate across the mobile, frontend, and backend squads. - Embrace open-source contribution, including projects that may sit outside your immediate team's scope.
Requirements - Motivated self-starter with a strong bias toward action and customer focus. - Pragmatic engineer who can break complex challenges into short feedback loops and ship modular solutions. - Passion for crafting intuitive products that genuinely fit user needs. - Independent working style and strong written communication, suited to a remote-first engineering culture. - Experience delivering production mobile applications and collaborating inside a large distributed codebase.
Nice to have - Deep familiarity with observability tooling and integrating incident response with monitoring data. - Background contributing to open-source projects or communities.
