About this role
Role overview A product squad focused on incident response management (IRM) is hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer to help operate a business-critical set of services used by global organizations to detect, respond to, and learn from incidents. The mission is to make incident response easy with minimal toil, tightly integrated with a broader observability platform. This is a remote, full-time role for candidates based in Ireland, working alongside frontend and backend squads on features that cross mobile, backend, and product boundaries.
Responsibilities - Influence the team roadmap and personal career objectives, taking ownership of meaningful areas of the mobile application. - Design, build, operate, and maintain the mobile application, owning reliability, performance, and availability. - Drive projects from initial ideation through to operations once features reach customers, then iterate based on results. - Participate in the team's on-call rotation and take ownership of incidents in the application. - Mentor and support other team members, participate in design discussions, and contribute to code reviews. - Embrace an open-source culture and contribute to adjacent projects that may sit outside the team's direct scope.
Requirements - Significant experience building and shipping production mobile applications with a focus on reliability and performance. - A self-starter mindset with a bias for action and a customer-first approach to product decisions. - Pragmatism in tackling complex challenges, breaking them down to achieve short feedback loops. - Strong independent communication skills suited to a remote-first environment with regular video collaboration. - Passion for creating intuitive products that fit real customer needs. - Ability to operate inside a large, distributed codebase and learn the surrounding cloud product quickly.
Benefits and work setup - 100% remote role for candidates based in Ireland, with a global, remote-first culture and structured onboarding. - Compensation and benefits are country specific and discussed at the start of the process; the package includes equity, a bonus where applicable, and other standard benefits. - Global annual leave policy of 30 days per year, with three reserved for company-wide shutdown days, in line with local legislation.
