Senior Mobile App Developer (Android)

Role overview A senior Android developer role building digital solutions for a transportation technology client focused on modern rail operations. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and modern tooling. - Collaborate closely with backend, iOS, and other cross-functional teams to deliver integrated features. - Drive technical improvements and contribute to architecture decisions across the mobile stack. - Optimize application performance, scalability, and user experience. - Ensure high engineering quality through unit, integration, and UI testing and thorough code reviews. - Mentor and support other engineers, contribute to technical documentation, and promote development best practices. - Stay current with modern Android technologies and industry trends.

Requirements - Solid senior-level experience in professional Android development. - Strong expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVVM, Coroutines, and Clean Architecture. - Solid understanding of Android architecture patterns and SOLID principles. - Experience with unit, integration, and UI testing, and with GraphQL or REST API integrations. - Track record of delivering scalable, maintainable, high-quality mobile applications. - Strong communication and collaboration skills and experience working in Agile environments. - Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.

Nice to have - Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile or React Native. - Familiarity with Firebase tools and mobile analytics. - Understanding of UI/UX principles and mobile accessibility. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
