Senior Software Engineer - 3P Partnerships

Role overview A senior engineering role on a third-party partnerships team within a fast-moving consumer delivery and fulfillment technology organization. The position focuses on integrating the platform with external partner systems and building new end-to-end shopping experiences that extend brand reach. It combines hands-on software development with technical leadership, mentoring, and project coordination across agile teams.

Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions that integrate internal platforms with third-party systems and partner APIs. - Implement system and data monitors to validate correctness of business processes and provide operational support for large distributed applications. - Lead cross-functional projects in an agile environment, including scoping, decomposition, estimation, and coordination across multiple teammates. - Author new REST APIs, integrate with existing ones, and expose data to frontend experiences. - Champion standard development practices across the team, including idiomatic syntax, design patterns, and testing and quality practices. - Mentor teammates and contribute to team-wide business and technical objectives beyond individually assigned goals.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and proven experience in a senior engineering role with increasing responsibility. - Proficiency with SQL, Postgres, Java, Go, and/or Node.js, with a solid grasp of data structures and algorithms applied to data-intensive applications processing high-velocity or high-volume transactions. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to mentor a team and lead without direction. - Experience operating as a tech lead for a small team, with interest in continued growth into a manager or principal engineering role. - 8+ years of overall professional experience.

Nice to have - Hands-on experience with Terraform, Pulumi, Helm, or GitHub Actions. - SQL data analysis on Snowflake or BigQuery, with some familiarity with data pipelines. - Background in message-based asynchronous processing and JavaScript SPA frameworks such as Vue or React. - Production public cloud experience, preferably on Azure.
