Role overview
Lead analytics engineering for go-to-market teams, building trusted data products and metrics that support planning and business growth. The role spans hands-on analysis, data pipeline and model design, reporting, and collaboration with sales and finance stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Shape the go-to-market data roadmap and build scalable, durable data products. - Develop and maintain pipelines and data marts for metrics such as staffing plans, quota attainment, and sales pipeline. - Create reliable dashboards that help teams understand performance and act on results. - Enable analysts through dataset and tool guidance, documentation, and tutorials. - Build semantic models and evaluate AI tools that let sales teams query business data in natural language. - Explain data definitions and technical decisions through specifications, dashboards, and presentations.
Requirements
- At least seven years in data engineering, analytics, or analytics engineering. - Strong expertise in data modeling, warehouse design, and SQL, with experience using columnar analytics databases such as Snowflake or BigQuery. - Deep knowledge of Salesforce data and other go-to-market systems. - Experience with dbt, Git, business intelligence tools, and teams across sales, sales operations, compensation, or finance. - Ability to build data-focused AI tooling, including semantic models and evaluation processes. - Strong written and verbal communication, careful attention to detail, and ability to manage work independently while collaborating with technical and business leaders.
Nice to have
- Direct experience with Hex or similar business intelligence tools.
Benefits and work setup
The role is listed with a compensation range of CAD 156,000–205,000 for Canada. Benefits may include health, dental, optical, pharmacy, disability and life coverage, paid leave, and retirement contributions, subject to eligibility. Some interviews or training may take place in person.
