SAP Data Migration Consultant

Role overview

Develop and maintain data migration workflows that support SAP integrations, transforming source information into reliable, validated data. You’ll work closely with functional colleagues to turn business needs into technical specifications, improve migration performance, and contribute to quality reviews. The role includes occasional on-site consulting travel, estimated at 10–15%.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain data integration workflows, mappings, and transformations. - Connect migrated data with other systems and applications. - Profile, cleanse, and validate data for accuracy, completeness, and integrity. - Improve the performance and scalability of SAP Data Services jobs. - Translate functional requirements into technical specifications in partnership with business teams. - Participate in peer and quality reviews of specifications, designs, and code, while following quality and information security processes.

Requirements

- At least two years of ABAP experience, with emphasis on SAP FI areas such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, or funds management. - Experience with SMART Forms and SAPscript. - U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active government security clearance.

Nice to have

- Three years of experience with SAP BusinessObjects Data Services or related migration tools such as LSMW, LTMC, or Syniti. - Experience on public-sector ERP or data migration projects.
