Senior Product Manager

Role overview

This senior product role owns the strategy, vision, and roadmap for a portfolio of clinical analytics solutions that help hospitals and health systems benchmark clinical and procedural spend, optimize product utilization, and inform value analysis and physician preference decisions. The position acts as the clinical domain authority and partners with engineering, sales, clinical strategy, and customer success to deliver measurable clinical and financial outcomes. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the role is a hands-on leadership seat that engages regularly with cross-functional leaders across technical and clinical domains.

Responsibilities

- Serve as the primary clinical and technical domain expert for a suite of healthcare solutions, supporting sales conversations and safeguarding the customer experience - Decompose ambiguous problems in clinical analytics and physician preference items into milestones and key initiatives, holding cross-functional stakeholders accountable to target dates - Partner with internal operations to define implementation norms that shorten time to value for customers - Lead engineering, product owners, and sales collaboration to ship high-quality products, even when problems are technically or clinically complex - Conduct research with clinicians, value analysis committees, and supply chain leaders to surface customer needs and market gaps in category optimization and physician-level analytics - Analyze the competitive landscape and market trends in healthcare clinical analytics and procurement, then define and execute strategies to lead the market - Define, drive, and communicate product roadmaps aligned with corporate strategy and cross-portfolio delivery - Partner with product pods and engineering delivery teams to prioritize work based on market demand and business impact - Develop value propositions and sales tools, and collaborate with marketing on external messaging and naming - Lead cross-functional rollout and go-to-market for new products and features, including training customer-facing employees - Build business cases with sales and finance, monitor product success metrics, and shape strategy accordingly - Set and evaluate product pricing using established pricing methodologies - Navigate internal prioritization processes to advocate for the product - Ensure legal, regulatory, and healthcare data privacy and security requirements are met in collaboration with legal teams

Requirements

- Demonstrated expertise in healthcare, clinical analytics, and procedural or surgical supply chain data, including fluency with physician preference items, value analysis, and provider procurement processes - Proven ability to independently break complex, ambiguous problems into milestones, tasks, and target dates, and to keep stakeholders accountable - Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to translate feedback between technical and clinical or business audiences and to flag risks early - Sound judgment that weighs risk against reward and drives groups to decisions even amid disagreement - Technical fluency sufficient to discuss system architecture, data models, and the work required to evolve them - Demonstrated roadmap ownership, using data to prioritize and plan future iterations - Willingness and ability to travel 25 to 50 percent

- Hands-on experience negotiating with internal prioritization forums and securing engineering capacity for a product line - Familiarity with healthcare data privacy and security standards and how they shape product decisions
