Own the operational process that turns product offerings into correctly configured, priced, and launch-ready commercial items. The role connects product strategy with sales, finance, legal, and operational teams, using catalog governance, analytics, process improvement, and automation to support reliable launches and scalable growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead commercialization from requirements gathering and catalog setup through testing and launch, coordinating with product, systems, deal desk, contracts, order processing, revenue, and asset teams. - Translate new offerings into clear, sellable and billable configurations; document requirements, business rules, and operating procedures. - Manage the product catalog lifecycle in CPQ, including creation, changes, approvals, releases, and retirement. - Audit catalog items using stakeholder input and sales and discount data; recommend rationalization and establish naming, taxonomy, and ongoing review practices. - Run cross-functional projects with defined scope, milestones, owners, risks, and status reporting; track service levels and quality measures. - Analyze bookings, discounting, renewals, realized prices, and proposed changes to inform packaging and pricing decisions and estimate revenue or margin impact. - Identify and prioritize automation opportunities, including AI-enabled improvements, and measure their effect on manual effort.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. - Five or more years in product operations, revenue operations, deal desk, commercial program management, or a related B2B SaaS role. - Hands-on Conga CPQ experience, including catalog management, pricing rules, approval workflows, and SKU configuration. - Proven leadership of cross-functional process improvement with measurable outcomes. - Experience analyzing sales, discount, or pricing data and turning findings into recommendations. - Strong project management, communication, and documentation skills, including executive-ready materials and procedures. - Ability to manage concurrent priorities, risks, and dependencies, and travel up to 20% annually. - Familiarity with AI and automation in commercial operations.
