About this role
Role overview The Business Analyst III is a senior member of a Solution Engineering group that supports pre-sales work in the healthcare supply chain space. The role partners with field sellers and solutions engineers to evaluate customer data sets, including item masters, purchase order histories, and vendor records, and turns those findings into actionable assessments. It also acts as a subject matter expert on reporting tools and analytics enhancements that improve customer outcomes and inform product direction.
Responsibilities - Lead the end-to-end creation and delivery of supply chain health assessments and other data products used by the sales organization - Serve as the subject matter expert collaborating with business intelligence, product, development, sales, and solutions engineering teams to refine assessment tools, processes, and customer-facing presentations - Design and streamline internal reporting that supports pre-sales motions and account planning - Review account data profiles, confirm account strategy with the solutions engineering team, and produce tailored assessments that improve pre-sales effectiveness - Maintain current knowledge of industry, regulatory, and product trends relevant to healthcare supply chain buyers - Contribute to the long-term product roadmap for assessment tools, identifying new data and analytics capabilities to support the sales strategy - Operate with a high degree of autonomy, prioritizing competing requests across sales, product, and development while escalating complex or ambiguous issues to leadership
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in supply chain, technical product management, sales, or engineering - At least three years of supply chain experience, or supply chain experience paired with an MBA or other advanced degree in a related discipline - Familiarity with AI and generative AI tools used to support data analysis, reporting, and presentation development, with a willingness to grow that capability - Hands-on experience with enterprise resource planning and/or electronic medical record systems - Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and a demonstrated ability to format and analyze large data sets - Willingness to travel up to 5%
Nice to have - A track record of collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams of varying sizes, both internally and with customer organizations - Ability to translate loosely defined business problems into structured analytical approaches with minimal direction - Comfort engaging with executive, functional, and technical audiences, including public speaking in large forums - Strong written communication for emails, RFPs, and reports, paired with solid business acumen and presentation skills - Creative, adaptive problem-solving aimed at removing pre-sales obstacles and validating customer needs through inquiry
