Job details
About this role
Role overview
This role sits on the marketing analytics team as a senior individual contributor focused on measurement strategy rather than dashboard maintenance. The mission is to lead experimentation, forecasting, and incrementality work that informs how marketing budget is allocated across channels. The position partners closely with marketing leaders during planning cycles and acts as a technical authority for a team of analysts.
Responsibilities
- Own the marketing measurement roadmap, defining which tests run, in what order, and against which success criteria before they are formalized. - Design and execute geo holdout and other incrementality studies that separate true marketing lift from baseline demand. - Build and maintain marketing performance forecasts that account for seasonality, channel saturation, and macro trends to guide budget allocation. - Set standards for experimentation rigor across the team, including sample sizing, statistical power, confidence intervals, and post-test analysis. - Query large-scale data platforms alongside media and marketing sources to surface channel inefficiencies and anomalies. - Apply AI tools and agent-based workflows to automate repetitive extraction and analysis tasks. - Mentor junior and mid-level analysts through code reviews, frameworks, and shared best practices.
Requirements
- At least five years in marketing analytics, media measurement, or a closely related field with a record of influencing marketing decisions. - Hands-on experience designing and running geo holdout tests or comparable geo-based incrementality methods. - Experience building marketing forecasting or response models, including MMM work. - Deep expertise in A/B testing, hypothesis testing, sample size estimation, and statistical power analysis in marketing contexts. - Advanced SQL and Python skills in cloud data environments such as Databricks and BigQuery. - Familiarity with marketing measurement platforms, MMM tooling, and major ad platforms.
Nice to have
- Experience with or intuition for marketing and customer psychology and how channel choices affect acquisition and retention. - Background driving unstructured, complex analytics projects end to end with high autonomy. - A demonstrated commitment to mentorship and technical leadership.
Benefits and work setup
- Remote-first work with optional office access. - Competitive base salary range of $145,700 to $171,100, plus equity, bonus eligibility, and a full benefits package including 401(k) matching, family health benefits, paid time off, and ongoing professional development programs.
