Staff Forward Deployed Engineer

Role overview A senior engineering role embedded closely with customers or internal stakeholders to deliver working solutions in complex, real-world environments. The position blends hands-on engineering with problem discovery, implementation, and iteration based on field conditions. It is a remote role based in the United States.

Responsibilities - Work alongside customer or partner teams to understand workflows, constraints, and success criteria - Design and ship tailored technical solutions that integrate with existing systems - Translate field learnings into reusable patterns, code, and product feedback - Drive end-to-end delivery from prototyping through production hardening - Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence the roadmap based on field experience - Mentor other engineers and contribute to deployment best practices

Requirements - Extensive professional engineering experience at a senior or staff level - Strong generalist skills across multiple programming languages and systems - Comfort working directly with customers or non-technical stakeholders - Track record of delivering production software in complex, variable environments - Ability to balance speed-to-value with engineering quality - Excellent communication and problem-framing skills
