Senior Security Engineer, Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) - EMEA

Role overview A senior security engineering role on a dedicated Security Incident Response Team responsible for detecting, investigating, and responding to threats across the environment. The position combines hands-on incident response with work on tooling, detection, and process improvements. It is a remote role based in EMEA, open to candidates in Israel, Poland, and the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities - Lead and contribute to security incident detection, triage, investigation, and response - Develop and refine playbooks, runbooks, and response procedures - Perform post-incident reviews and drive remediation across affected teams - Build and tune detection rules, alerts, and supporting response tooling - Partner with engineering, IT, and product teams on broader security improvements - Stay current on the threat landscape and emerging attacker techniques

Requirements - Several years of experience in security engineering or incident response at a senior level - Strong knowledge of attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures - Hands-on experience with detection and response tooling used in modern security operations - Scripting or development skills for automation and analysis - Ability to work across time zones and operate independently in a remote setting - Excellent written communication for documentation and incident reporting
