Senior Solution Engineer

Role overview

Join a real estate-focused technology company as a Senior Solution Engineer supporting owners, developers, and construction finance teams. This senior individual contributor role combines deep industry expertise with consultative pre-sales skills, helping translate complex development and construction workflows into scalable software solutions. The position partners closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams throughout the evaluation, implementation, and long-term customer lifecycle.

Responsibilities

- Lead the technical evaluation phase of the sales cycle for owner and developer prospects, from initial discovery through solution validation - Conduct detailed discovery to assess current systems (ERP, construction management, payments platforms), integration requirements, and stakeholder success criteria - Design and deliver tailored, executive-ready product demonstrations that quantify operational efficiency, risk reduction, and financial impact - Build ROI-based financial models that articulate value to debt and equity stakeholders - Serve as a subject matter expert on real estate development finance, draw management, and owner/developer reporting - Support Client Success during implementation and post-go-live by resolving complex workflow, reporting, and integration challenges - Collaborate with Product and Engineering to share customer insights and influence roadmap enhancements - Contribute to enablement through onboarding, playbooks, sales training, and industry conference participation

Requirements

- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand and explain complex systems and workflows - Prior experience in sales engineering, pre-sales, or consultative SaaS roles, ideally with property technology exposure - Deep expertise in real estate development and construction finance, including development-phase financial controls, owner reporting, and risk management - Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior leadership stakeholders - Excellent communication skills for presenting to executive, finance, and operational audiences - Willingness to travel approximately 15–25% to support business priorities

- Experience redesigning end-to-end development workflows spanning pre-development, construction, draw management, and reporting - Background in proptech or construction lending environments
