Role overview A full-time, remote position based in the United States is open for a Strategic Technical Project Manager within a Professional Services organization, reporting to the PMO Director. The role centers on end-to-end ownership of complex, high-visibility customer engagements that deploy AI-driven and human-driven agent solutions at enterprise scale. It is well suited for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Customer Success, Solution Architecture, Product, and Engineering.
Responsibilities - Lead complex, multi-workstream customer engagements end to end, owning scope, timelines, budget, and risk management. - Partner with customers and internal teams to translate AI-driven agent use cases into clear, deployable delivery plans and workflows. - Manage parallel workstreams covering technical implementation (platform configuration, integrations, system access, workflow design, reporting) and human agent readiness (staffing, onboarding, training, certifications). - Align executive stakeholders on success criteria, governance structures, and outcome validation frameworks. - Coordinate Solution Architecture, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to keep delivery tightly aligned. - Proactively identify and mitigate technical, operational, and organizational risks, and monitor post-deployment signals to drive adoption, stability, and measurable outcomes.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience) plus 10+ years of relevant work experience. - 7+ years managing enterprise-grade software or SaaS implementations within Professional Services or Technical Consulting. - Demonstrated success leading multi-workstream engagements with contract values exceeding $500K. - Strong project governance, financial management, and executive stakeholder alignment capabilities. - Technical fluency in APIs, data models, and enterprise integrations sufficient to guide architectural discussions. - Willingness to travel up to 10–15% for customer onsite engagements, team meetings, or company events.
Nice to have - Experience operating in a Field Delivery Engineering (FDE) or customer-embedded delivery model. - Background in business process outsourcing projects. - Hands-on experience implementing Customer Success, CRM, or enterprise SaaS platforms. - Familiarity with AI-driven solutions, automation, or advanced analytics implementations. - Project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 (or equivalent).
