Engineering Manager, DevEx

Role overview An Engineering Manager role leading a DevEx team responsible for the internal developer platform, GitOps workflows, Kubernetes infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling. The position is remote and partners across engineering leadership to raise the bar for reliability, security, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities - Identify developer friction and platform opportunities in partnership with engineering leadership - Measure success through deployment velocity, system reliability, platform adoption, and developer productivity - Guide architecture and technical strategy across the Internal Developer Platform, deployment workflows, and cloud infrastructure - Help the team deliver reusable patterns, self-service tooling, and guardrails that make the right thing the easy thing - Hire, coach, and retain platform and software engineers with meaningful ownership and growth paths - Standardize workflows, improve observability, and embed operational excellence into everyday development - Drive platform adoption across the organization through collaboration, clear documentation, and empathy

Requirements - Experience managing high-performing platform engineering teams - Skilled at project planning, tracking, and roadmap creation - Technical expertise across Kubernetes, GitOps (ArgoCD), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Python, AWS, Terraform, and Datadog - Track record of improving developer experience, deployment reliability, and engineering effectiveness - A platform mindset focused on reusable systems and scalable guardrails rather than one-off fixes - Clear, direct communication with both technical platform teams and product engineering stakeholders
