Principal Product Manager, Document Domain

Role overview Own the strategy and execution for a core document experience domain, shaping how professionals draft, refine, collaborate on, and finalize documents in an AI-augmented era. This senior, hands-on role sits at the intersection of user experience, platform systems, and applied AI, guiding multiple squads and translating emerging capabilities into scalable product surfaces.

Responsibilities - Lead high-impact initiatives spanning document creation, authoring, and collaboration - Shape cohesive end-to-end workflows so users move naturally from drafting to completion - Embed AI capabilities directly into authoring, refinement, structure, and automation with a focus on measurable outcomes - Define product direction for modern document systems blending structured content, intelligent assistance, and collaborative workflows - Partner with design, engineering, AI platform, and core platform teams on APIs, integrations, and data models - Align with other senior PMs to keep journeys consistent and connected across the product - Drive continuous improvement through experimentation, customer feedback, and product telemetry - Shape long-term domain strategy with flexibility and readiness for evolving AI-powered features

Requirements - Seven or more years of hands-on product management in B2B SaaS, ideally across document creation, productivity, collaboration, or content platforms - Proven record owning complex user-facing domains from strategy through delivery and iteration - Familiarity with document systems, structured content, and cross-format editing models such as PDF, DOCX, Markdown, or AI-generated content - Direct experience shipping AI-powered features, including defining UX behavior, rollout strategies, and iterating on real-world usage - Demonstrated AI fluency applied to analysis, prototyping, and workflow automation - Strong communicator who simplifies complexity, frames trade-offs, and aligns cross-functional teams - Pragmatic execution orientation balancing experimentation with delivery discipline - Comfort partnering with deeply technical teams on system design, APIs, and platform constraints
