Role overview
This part-time Salesforce development position supports a five-month project at 20 hours per week. The role focuses on designing, configuring, testing, and deploying scalable solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. Experience with Service Cloud Voice and Amazon Connect is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Translate business and technical requirements into secure, maintainable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and declarative features. - Build and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, Future methods, Queueable jobs, and other asynchronous processes. - Develop JavaScript-based Lightning Web Components and Apex handlers that improve user experience and platform functionality. - Configure objects, fields, validation rules, record types, page layouts, workflows, Flows, reports, and dashboards. - Manage data imports and migrations with tools such as Data Loader, Workbench, and Data Import Wizard. - Create unit and integration tests, promote code with Change Sets, ANT, Gearset, Git, or Jenkins, and support deployments, troubleshooting, documentation, and production improvements.
Requirements
- Salesforce certification is required, including the Salesforce Platform Developer credential. - At least eight years of experience developing and managing applications on the Salesforce platform. - Extensive hands-on expertise with Apex controllers, triggers, test classes, scheduled batch jobs, APIs, governor limits, web services, and asynchronous processing. - Strong Lightning Web Components experience, including JavaScript UI enhancements and Apex integration. - Advanced configuration knowledge covering automation, security, access controls, custom objects, page layouts, and territory management. - Experience delivering Experience Cloud Sites, Portals, and Communities, using deployment and CI/CD practices, and collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Salesforce Service Cloud Voice and Amazon Connect development or integration experience is highly preferred. - Administrator, Marketing Cloud, and additional Salesforce certifications are also advantageous.

- Remote, part-time schedule of 20 hours per week for a five-month project. - Candidates may reside only in AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WI, or Washington, DC. - Applicants must already be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship, third-party engagement, and corp-to-corp arrangements are not available. - The listed estimated compensation range is $110,000–$140,000 USD. Incentive programs may also be available, along with medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits.
