QA and Test Automation Engineer (Playwright, Vitest)

Role overview Help protect the quality of a browser-based editing product by finding defects before release and turning them into reliable, lasting checks. The work combines hands-on testing across devices with automated coverage for the editor, administration tools, and API, while partnering with engineers to make testing practical and focused.

Responsibilities - Build and maintain browser-based automated journeys for the editor, admin panel, and API. - Manually test new features on desktop, tablet, and phone, then document issues clearly. - Investigate the causes of flaky tests and improve their reliability instead of relying on retries. - Verify that older saved plans still open and that exported results match what users see in the editor. - Work with engineers to create tests that expose failures early and keep test suites useful.

Requirements - Experience testing a complex web application through both manual and automated methods. - Familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, or a similar browser automation tool using TypeScript or JavaScript. - Strong attention to edge cases and ability to write reproducible bug reports. - Comfort reading code and running a software project locally.

Nice to have - Experience with visual regression testing, canvas or 3D interfaces, accessibility testing with screen readers, or evaluating AI features.
