Senior Solution Architect

Role overview Own the technical design behind complex enterprise sales opportunities across Europe, from validating customer needs to demonstrating a workable solution. Partner with sales and engineering teams to shape integrations and customizations, set realistic scope, and prepare a clear handover for production delivery.

Responsibilities - Join strategic opportunities early and help sales teams establish technical credibility with business and IT leaders. - Assess customer workflows and integration needs, then design solutions using APIs, webhooks, identity services, extensions, or AI capabilities. - Define scope, dependencies, risks, and effort; explain trade-offs and build a value case with sales colleagues. - Create proof-of-concept builds and demo mock-ups to demonstrate proposed customer experiences. - Prepare documented architecture and prototypes for engineering handover; advise on feasibility and respond to technical sections of proposals and security questionnaires. - Develop reusable solution patterns, coach colleagues, and relay recurring product gaps to engineering and product teams.

Requirements - Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. - 5–8 years in customer-facing technical work, with a record of supporting complex enterprise deals through architecture, scoping, and handover. - Practical development skills in JavaScript or TypeScript and a related framework, Node.js, or comparable tools; working knowledge of HTML and CSS. - Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, authentication and identity concepts such as OAuth, SAML, SSO, and SCIM, plus enterprise SaaS architecture and security. - Able to turn unclear requests into scoped solutions and explain technical choices to developers, executives, and business stakeholders. - Fluent German and English at C1 level or above; comfortable leading customer discussions and traveling within Europe when needed.

Nice to have - Experience with enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, Jira, or identity directories; AI agent architectures; employee communications or low-code platforms. - Additional European languages, especially French or Spanish; experience with value or process consulting and AI-assisted prototyping.
