Power Systems Engineer

Role overview Check that digital tools for monitoring and planning electricity networks reflect sound engineering principles and real operating conditions. You will combine power systems analysis with product development, helping teams assess network constraints, reliability and operational risk across transmission, distribution and renewable energy assets.

Responsibilities - Validate product models, assumptions and results against electrical engineering principles and actual grid behavior. - Develop power flow, contingency and other system studies for transmission and distribution networks and renewable assets. - Bring reliability and resilience considerations into product decisions and analysis. - Convert grid codes, regulatory frameworks and industry requirements into technical product requirements. - Analyze operational data with data science colleagues to improve data-driven models and digital twin accuracy. - Automate recurring studies and workflows, and support product, engineering and technical sales teams on client projects and pilots.
