About this role
Role overview
This role owns the day-to-day health, configuration, and evolution of a Salesforce platform that supports a global commercial organization. It is a hands-on build position focused on clean automation, sensible permissions, and safely shipped changes, partnering with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to translate requirements into scalable declarative solutions.
Responsibilities

- Manage user and license administration, including setup and deactivation, roles, profiles, permission sets, public groups, org-wide defaults, and sharing rules.
- Improve data quality through duplicate and validation rules, automation, regular audits, and bulk data operations using tools such as Data Loader.
- Administer connected go-to-market applications and integrations, troubleshooting sync issues, supporting users and licensing, and escalating to vendors when needed.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex issues spanning Flow, automation, integrations, and data, diagnosing root causes and implementing permanent fixes.
- Run proactive platform maintenance, including seasonal release readiness, security and permission audits, Health Check remediation, technical debt cleanup, and retirement of unused configuration.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to the platform roadmap by sizing requests, surfacing trade-offs, and flagging downstream costs of quick wins.

- Salesforce Certified Administrator required; Advanced Administrator and/or Platform App Builder strongly preferred.
- Deep declarative expertise with Flow as a primary tool, plus working knowledge of when a problem calls for Apex.
- Working knowledge of security and sharing architecture, including roles, profiles, permission sets, org-wide defaults, sharing rules, and field-level security.
- Hands-on data management experience with Data Loader or similar, including bulk imports, upserts, deduplication, mass updates, and migrations.
- Comfort with SOQL, report building, Salesforce APIs, connected apps, integration users, and source-driven deployment tooling in a multi-sandbox environment.
Nice to have
- Service Cloud and Experience Cloud or Partner Community experience. - Familiarity with iPaaS platforms such as Workato. - Ability to read Apex and understand triggers. - Experience supporting Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, or Partner teams in a revenue or go-to-market systems environment.
