Senior Salesforce Engineer (Remote)

Role overview A senior engineering role focused on building and maintaining scalable Salesforce capabilities that power internal workflows and customer-facing operations for a large online sportsbook and gaming platform. The position sits on an internal platforms team centered on Salesforce and tightly integrated backend services, working hands-on with code, integrations, and distributed systems. It is a remote opportunity partnering closely with Marketing, Operations, Product, Data Engineering, and Backend Engineering teams.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and declarative features. - Participate in end-to-end delivery of Salesforce enhancements, from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing support. - Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and external or internal systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns, partnering with backend engineers on integration contracts. - Apply scalable patterns for triggers, automation, custom components, and integrations, while writing testable code with appropriate coverage and participating in code reviews. - Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Marketing, VIP, Operations Support, Risk, and Data teams to translate business needs into technical solutions and meet regulatory requirements. - Support data migrations, imports and exports, data quality initiatives, documentation, and CI/CD practices using Salesforce DX, Git, and deployment pipelines.

Requirements - 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce engineering experience with strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce automation. - Solid experience configuring Salesforce, including custom objects, flows, validation rules, and security model design. - Demonstrated experience building and maintaining API-based integrations between Salesforce and third-party or internal systems. - Working knowledge of Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. - Ability to work independently on complex projects while collaborating effectively within a team. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have - Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification, or additional credentials such as Administrator, App Builder, or Architect. - Experience with large-scale data migrations, event-driven architectures, and highly available production-critical platforms. - Familiarity with AI model or agent platforms (for example, building on or integrating agents into production workflows) and AI-powered coding assistants to accelerate development while maintaining code quality.
