About this role
Role overview A senior field architect position focused on delivering post-sales technical outcomes for enterprise customers in the network detection and security space. The role blends deep packet-level analysis, cloud architecture, and custom scripting to help security operations and incident response teams investigate threats faster and modernize their tooling.
Responsibilities - Design and build advanced custom dashboards, triggers, and integrations on a network intelligence platform using Python and JavaScript-based APIs. - Implement cloud network architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP that surface telemetry and integrate with existing hybrid environments. - Partner with SOC and incident response teams to build workflows that shorten mean time to respond using real-time network data. - Develop automated tools and scripts to streamline repeatable processes and extend platform functionality. - Produce tailored data analyses and visualizations that surface shifting technical and business conditions in real time. - Lead hands-on enablement sessions with customer engineers and analysts to drive adoption and self-sufficiency.
Requirements - 6–8 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role with strong interpersonal and written communication skills. - Solid background in packet analysis, network detection technologies, and OSI layers 2 through 4. - Working knowledge of application protocols such as HTTP, SQL, CIFS/NFS, HL7, Memcache, and DNS. - Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Proficiency scripting in Python and JavaScript, including REST API integration. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a self-directed, ownership-oriented working style.
Nice to have - Exposure to application design patterns and middleware integrations. - Familiarity with intrusion detection, forensics, or network performance management adjacent tooling.
