Shopify / Ecommerce Developer

Role overview Develop ecommerce storefronts and supporting systems that are fast, dependable, and straightforward to operate. The work covers Shopify themes and apps, business integrations, catalog or data setup, checkout troubleshooting, and launch support, with attention to the customer journey and platform constraints. This is a part-time, fully remote role based in Egypt, with flexible hours and collaboration overlap.

Responsibilities - Build and customize Shopify storefronts, themes, and apps. - Connect stores with payment, shipping, inventory, CRM, and other third-party services. - Improve storefront speed and conversion-critical customer flows. - Support catalog setup and data migrations with care. - Diagnose theme, integration, and checkout issues, and test critical purchase paths. - Coordinate with design, marketing, and backend teams; document handovers and advise on platform trade-offs.

Requirements - Practical Shopify development experience, including Liquid and theme or app development. - Understanding of ecommerce flows and conversion fundamentals. - Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations. - Attention to performance and user experience details. - Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to test checkout-critical paths and explain platform constraints when estimating work.

Nice to have Experience with Shopify Plus, Hydrogen or Oxygen, checkout extensibility, Klaviyo, or analytics integrations.
